THE PROPERTIES OF HONEY
Honey, one of the purest and most natural products, mainly consists in sugars, around 80%, and has a prolonged moisturising effect. Another further important discovery has been combined with these well-know properties where honey is stated to have a strong antioxidant action. Studies performed on different varieties of Honey have shown in fact the presence of substances which have this capacity. For this reason Honey is able to block those radical processes which are responsible for cellular degeneration and therefore skin aging.
